The film is presented from the perspective of the ACP Arya Phogat (Prithviraj Sukumaran). ACP Arya, a policeman, was raised by his uncle, DCP Ravikant Phogat (Rishi Kapoor). His father, police inspector Vijaykant Phogat (Anupam Kher), lost interest in life years back, after messing up an operation of Yashvardhan Singh (Jackie Shroff), kill due to lack of evidence against him.
